Sometimes not all symptoms are obvious to feel; there are conditions that are #symptomless. I am treating a young patient with #frequent urination with no avail and wondering what is wrong with my diagnosis. The truth is that the conditions is #asymptomatic. When a patient suffers from frequent urination, #TCM physician normally treat #Kidney #Qi or #Kidney #Yang #deficiency. A particularly useful modality to use is #moxa. However, this young patient has reverse reaction to it instead of follow the prognosis and become better. Therefore, I sent this person to see a specialist and found out there are #cysts in the #lower #abdomen which are pressing on the #urinary bladder. This new discovery totally change the game play. Instead of tonifying, I have to #drain #dampheat and at the same time watch out not to drain too much so the body can withhold qi and blood. Such occasion take some experiences in diagnosis and cautions in treatment plan.
