#Alzheimer's disease and #dementia are hard to treat degenerated disease in both eastern and western medicine. Since it's "degenerating" disease, what we do in #Alternative Medicine is to nourish the degeneration and cause it to take a u-turn. By nourishing Heart and Kidney channels and notifying Heart and Kidney Qi, Kidney essence, we can reverse the progression of the pathogen. This is also good for #prevention of #Alzheimer's disease and #dementia. In Chinese medicine, we perform acupuncture on Si Shen Cong, and some Heart and Kidney points. In conjunction to acupuncture, we administer Chinese herbal medicine such as Shi Chang Pu or Yuan Zhi which can cross the blood-brain barrier to deliver their effects to the brain.
Also, it's important to note that the patient is in excess or deficiency; the treatments should be adjusted accordingly.
